Minalungao National Park is the latest pop discovery of netizens online. Who would not be mesmerize by its crystal blue-green waters? The photos shared online are so inviting, that i decided to include this as a side-trip of our Baler Trip.
First things first, Minalungao National Park is located in Gen. Tinio, Nueva Ecija. Boulder in between the limestone walls of the Sierra Madre mountain range and trans versing the Penaranda River.
How To Get Here:
- Ride a bus bound for Cabanatuan, Nueva Ecija and alight at Gapan Terminal. Travel time is 2 hrs – P160

- Hire a tricycle to Minalungao National Park (1 hr 45 mins travel time) – P500-600
Alternate Route: This will save you more, applicable if you have plenty of time. Since Jeepneys are occasional.
Get a Jeepney bound for Gen. Tinio (Papaya) – P24
Then from there you can hire a tricycle to the park for P50
Entrance – P50
Small Raft – P250
If you’re not interested in riding a raft, you may opt to walk at the limestones. From the beginning till the end of the river Park is only 15-20 mins by foot.
NOTES:
- Swimming is prohibited without a life guard.
- You can have a picnic with your family while riding the raft
